A Jet Pump is a pump that operates on the principle of a high-pressure fluid jet and the venturi effect (which exerts suction). The Jet pump is a combination of a conventional water pump, such as a centrifugal pump, and an ejection relation commonly referred to as a jet. A jet pump is highly tolerant in relation to sand and other particles. Self–priming jet pumps are designed for suction lifts & can be installed above the water source. They have a High tolerance for the presence of entrained air in the fluids to be pumped & have excellent suction ability as a part of their self-priming function.
